I have been shopping at Safeway store at N. Thornydale Road in Marana Arizona for nearly 20 years. When the merger was announced they said that this location would remain open. When the merger occurred in December we noticed that a lot of items were not being stocked. When we asked the staff we were told it was just because of the transition and it would be better son. Now six months later its worse than ever.
The wonderful staff at the store say they are ordering items but their orders go unfilled. It seems as if, by failing to support the store, there is a concerted effort to kill it. Management is unapproachable, the new checkers moved into our store is running out our familiar checkers. The produce quality has gone down the drain and the prices have shot through the ceiling.
