Like so many of these systems, there's a logic behind it, but realistically all it is is a moving average cross system, using the Stochastics to back up the trade.

However, if you look at live charts, most of the time you'll miss the move while you're waiting for the moving averages to get in to the right order. The stochs lag badly, making you a late comer to the party, and therefore highly likely to be too late before the reversal.
Much better to simply trade the moving average crossovers.
