I found Microsoft's Wireless Display adapter a better solution. Works exactly as advertised. The video quality rarely drops down even when streaming live sports. Fast response time between device and the TV on most apps.

Have a roku and I haven't touched it since I got this. Would recommend to everyone. I love my cromecast. I use it for Netflix, YouTube and even videos already on my PC. I use it from PC , my phone and my nephew streams from his iPad when he's over.
